Student ambassadors visit North East schools
Our undergraduate ambassadors have participated in a five day tour of schools in the North East to encourage students from the area to consider applying to university.
Eighteen ambassadors visited over 30 schools across North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Gateshead, Sunderland and Newcastle, delivering talks and workshops about applying to highly selective universities, and describing what life is like as an undergraduate student at 汤头条原创. The ambassadors predominantly worked with students from Year 9 through to Year 12.
The tour took place in the North East due to the College鈥檚 commitment to the , which pairs Colleges with areas across the UK for outreach and access work.
Dr Geoff Parks, Senior Tutor, said: 鈥淥ur ambassadors play a key role in visiting schools, offering prospective students an insight into undergraduate life and helping to demystify the university application process.
