Rainbow Flag flies over College

This morning saw the Pride Flag fly above the entrance to our College, celebrating the start of LGBT+ History Month.

ÌÀÍ·ÌõÔ´´ Student Union (JCSU) LGBT+ Officer, Holly Bracewell, and JCSU President, Edward Parker Humphreys, helped raise the flag at 8.30am as students and staff watched on.

Edward said: "The flag will be flown again on the last day of February and a number of fantastic events are planned throughout the month. As well as a movie screening of ‘Paris is Burning’ and a charity bar quiz to raise money for the Terrence Higgins Trust, LGBT+ History Month will conclude with a Technicolour Formal and a vigil in the Chapel. On top of all this, Cloister Court will remain adorned with rainbow bunting for the duration of February."
