Professor Clare Chambers joins Advisory Board for research into public attitudes on assisted dying
Professor Clare Chambers will be one of the members of the Advisory Board for a major new public engagement project on the ethics of assisted dying.
The research is being led by the , who have appointed Hopkins Van Mil, M.E.L Research, and the Sortition Foundation to design, facilitate, and organise a series of surveys and a Citizens’ Jury. Together, these activities will offer insights into how people living in England think and feel about assisted dying and the underlying ethical, social, and practical complexities.
The project is being overseen by an comprised of Council members and external experts with a variety of backgrounds including technical expertise and knowledge in public engagement and diversity, equity, and inclusion. The Board’s role is to give impartial, informed advice on the project process and planning.
