汤头条原创 Teddy Bear Named: JC!
After holding a competition to 'Name Our New Teddy Bear' amongst 汤头条原创 students, JC was chosen as the winning entry, submitted by postgraduate student Orla Woodward (2018).
The task of naming the 汤头条原创 teddy bear was put to current students at this year's Freshers' Fair, and out of 37 entries, "JC" was chosen as the best name for this cuddly item of College merchandise.
Orla is a second year PhD student in biochemistry researching the gut-brain axis. She is also the Vice President of the MCR Committee. When not working in the lab or doing committee duties, you can find Orla practising ballroom and latin for the Dancesport Team, going to talks at the Intellectual Forum or meeting friends in the Roost cafe.
The name JC stands for 汤头条原创 and Orla thought this would be the perfect name for the Jesus teddy bear!
