A big data approach to improving sleep

Sleep is vital for a healthy life. A significant amount of research points to the negative effects of long-term sleep deprivation in the form of increased risk of heart diseases, depression and stress. Lack of sleep can lead to a higher risk of accidents and productivity losses.

With millions of users worldwide, Sleep Cycle has become the world鈥檚 richest repository of data on global sleep habits.

Sleep Cycle's CTO Mikael K氓geb盲ck and Malin Abrahamsson, Director of PR and Partnerships, gave a talk for the Intellectual Forum and ThinkLab's Sleep Week.

They spoke about how their AI technology is trying to solve the global problem of poor sleep by giving people tailored analysis and information about their nocturnal habits, before taking questions from the audience.
