Charles Dean Prangley, 2nd Lieutenant, 3rd Lincolnshire Regiment
Charles Dean Prangley was expected to join the College in October 1915 to read Modern Languages after attending Marlborough College.

Fell in action: 28 September 1916
Our image was kindly supplied by Marlborough College Archives. Instead he accepted a commission to the Lincolnshire Regiment. He is not listed on the final University War List but his name is listed in a version printed in June 1916 along with ten other names who had been expected to matriculate in October 1915.
There is, however, a short obituary for him in which his Captain wrote 鈥淗e was a splendid fellow in every way. He worked and led as an officer should鈥 I had absolute confidence in him鈥 (汤头条原创 Society Annual Report, 1917, p33).
