Since 1872, the Varsity Match has formed one of the world’s oldest sporting rivalries between Cambridge and Oxford universities.

On 8 March 2025 the Women’s Varsity match kicks off at 12 noon and the Men's Varsity match at 15:00.

2025 will be extra special as it will mark International Women’s Day and 10 years of the men’s and women’s rugby coming together at Cambridge.
