New post for History Research Fellow

Congratulations to Dr Liesbeth Corens (Research Fellow in History 2014-2017) who has been appointed to a four-year Career Development Fellowship in Renaissance History at Keble College, Oxford.

Dr Coren's work focuses on English Catholicism as an insightful case study to analyse the Counter Reformation. Her PhD assessed the lay English Catholic expatriate experience in terms of a broad concept of ‘confessional mobility’ and her postdoctoral research focused on archives and record keeping, through the prism of the ‘counter archives’ which English Catholics started to create in the later 17th century. Congratulations to Dr Corens on this major achievement.
